Alipay Processing in Shopmaker Solution

Alipay.com Co.,Ltd (AliPay) is China’s leading online payment service by both number of users and total transaction volume. A member of the Alibaba Group, it enables individuals and businesses to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. AliPay works like an escrow service, solving the issue of settlement risk in China. To meet the requirements of our clients, Bysoft launchs the ecommerce solution-Shopmaker which has integrated Alipay perfectly. Let’s go through and enjoy the full alipay payment processing.

Case 1: Pay immediately once order placed

Actions in front-end:
Step 1: Select Alipay as payment method and place order

Step 2: After order placed, the user will be redirected to Alipay interface, select to use Alipay or Bank online to pay

Step 3: Enter Alipay account info and confirm to pay

Order processing in back-end:
Step 1: A new order will be recorded in back-end with status “Pending”; a “New order” email will be sent to the customer automatically.

Step 2: After payment with Alipay, an invoice will be auto generated, and a “New invoice” email sent to customer automatically.

Step 3: The order status will be changed to “processing” automatically.

Case 2: Not pay immediately after order placed

Situation 1: login to alipay account after order placed

Actions in front-end:

Step 1: Select Alipay as payment method and place order

Step 2: After order placed, the user will be redirected to Alipay interface, select to use Alipay or Bank online to pay

Step 3: Enter Alipay account info but not pay, the order info will be recorded in Alipay account.

Results in backend:
A new order is recorded in back-end with status “pending”, “New order” email sent to customer automatically

Next step to pay the order:
Customer login to alipay account and confirm to pay

Order processing in backend:
The same as case 1, an invoice will be auto generated in back-end, “New invoice” email sent to customer automatically, and the order status changed to “processing”.

Situation 2: not login to alipay account after order placed

Actions in frontend:
Step 1: Select Alipay as payment method and place order

Step 2: After order placed, the user will be redirected to Alipay interface, but not enter any account info

In this case, there is not any order info recorded in customer’s Alipay account.

Results in backend:

A new order is recorded in back-end with status “pending”, “New order” email sent to customer automatically

Next step to pay the order:
In order to pay this kind of order, customer can contact the eshop owner to get his account information, and then make the payment through Alipay or in other means.
Order processing in backend:
Step 1: After received the payment, the eshop administrator can create an invoice manually by clicking the button “Invoice” in the corresponding order

Step 2: Edit the invoice, and set whether “Email copy of invoice” or not to customer

Step 3: After invoice generated, the order status will be changed to “processing” automatically.
